Due to the wide array of products we offer, many items ship at different times. Otherwise stated, all our items ships out in 14-21 business days. If time is a concern please contact us for approximated delivery date. In some cases we can also assist you with “time critical” orders.
Depends on the order size, product and cost, we ship nationwide using independent freight carriers. Please refer to the individual item page for shipping times, or call us toll-free at 1-866-523-6500. If delivery time is a concern please contact us with the specific product you are interested in and we will give you an approximated ship date. Orders using expedited delivery that cannot be fulfilled within ten business days will be refunded the expedited shipping fee and the order will ship within the standard delivery time.
As our client you have the choice to choose the shipment method. We will advise you the most cost-effective way so you can save time and money.
Shipping is not our business! We get the best rates in the industry and pass them over to you, the client – no hidden costs. Most orders to Hawaii or Alaska will be charged $75 per chair shipping; however certain items may incur additional charges. Orders shipped via trucking company are shipped “tailgate” when delivery is to a business with dock height facilities. If there is no dock on premises, truck will park in designated loading zone near by. Customer is responsible to unloading freight from the truck within 30 minutes of truck arrival.Orders shipped via semi-truck are shipped ''Dock to Dock''. Lift gate Service will incur an additional charge. Many of our chairs ship disassembled. Inside delivery is not included. Some shipments may not be left at your door without your signature. We cannot be held responsible for freight costs incurred by returned shipments for this reason. We reserve the right to bill you for shipping charges on refused shipments. We reserve the right to bill you for incorrect delivery addresses, typos caused by you when your order was placed and requests to forward shipments to another address. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Shipping Damages and Freight claims
When a carrier (UPS or common) takes possession of a shipment, they sign and acknowledge receiving product in good order. Once they take possession, we are no longer responsible for the condition of the product(s) at time of delivery. All common carrier deliveries require a signature. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the shipment prior to acceptance. If there is visible damage (i.e. Forklift punctures; shrink wrap is broken, torn, and cases are missing) then the customer must note the damage on the Delivery receipt. If you have no time to inspect the boxes upon delivery, please note the following on the Delivery Receipt: "Boxes are subject to inspection at time of delivery. Customer will notify carrier of pending damage within 24 hours." This gives you time to look over the product, yet allows the carrier to know that possible damage may have occurred before you took possession of it. It is the responsibility of the customer to fill a damage claim with the carrier, Avi Wholesale Seating can help you file the claim on your behalf. The carrier will reimburse the customer for their loss.
Cancellation of order is possible prior to the production of the items ordered. Custom made products (using upholstery materials, special stains or finishes) can not be returned because they were manufactured based on your specifications. You may be able to cancel order that has not gone into production or return items that are "stock items".
Returned "stock-items" usually involves re-stocking fee of 35%. You will forfeit all shipping expenses paid by you. All items must be returned in original manufacturer's boxes and will be inspected at time of arrival. In case of damage to the returned product, you will be charged the item's full price as appears on the original order.
Color/Texture Disclaimer: Stains may appear different on certain browsers and colors may not be accurate and textures may not be properly visualized as a result of photographic, Internet & computer inaccuracies and many other factors beyond our control. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the product colors, textures and stains & grains you see displayed on this site are perfectly accurate.
WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER, you are accepting the limitations inherent in not directly viewing samples. Absent your obtaining such samples, your completion of an order constitutes your waver of any claim you may have due to dissatisfaction with the product colors, textures, stains & grains. If you would like to see first hand materials (fabrics, vinyls, wood finishes, metal swatches) please contact us and we will be happy to provide you samples. The warranties of our chairs range from one year to 3 year warranties. Most warranties cover full replacement of parts for at least two years. Specific warranties are stated on the item page. LIMITED WARRANTY
AVI Maxim Inc. offers the original user this warranty on any product in its’ catalog that proves to be defective in material or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase on all frame parts, and metal leg assembly parts, and one year from the date of purchase on all other parts such as plastics and upholstery material. If defective, the Company will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product or parts. AVI Maxim Inc’s commercial products are intended for Indoor use. Exposure to the sun and moisture could cause an adverse effect on the metal and plastic parts resulting in shorter product life, this warranty does not cover damage for exposure to outdoor elements such as wind, rain, snow, ice or any other acts of God. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, improper handling or installations or repairs made by anyone other than AVI Maxim Inc. or someone authorized by the Company in writing. This warranty does not cover handling or transportation costs to and from repair stations, and specifically exclude claims for indirect, incidental and consequential damages. Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose are limited to the time durations state above.
The exclusive remedy for breach of the warranty contained herein is the repair or replacement of the defective product at option of the Company. In no case shall AVI Maxim Inc.’s liability under any other remedy prescribed by law exceed the purchase price
As stated in our privacy policy we do not give our information to anyone, other than to process your order. All of your information is stored on a secure server.
